Last weekend, HPC's Mike Young taught the USATF Level 1 Coaches Education school at Villanova University. Dr. Young joined the staff of Andrew Allden, Glen McAtee and Loren Seagrave. The HPC trained LA Racing Dragons, a dragon boat team out of Los Angeles, won the highest division of the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival this past weekend. HPC Elite Team member, Brandon Roulhac, completed his season on Friday with a 2nd place finish in the men's triple jump at the Colorful Daegu meeting in Daegu, South Korea. HPC is proud to announce the addition of Andrew Allden to the HPC Staff. Andrew will be coaching the middle distance runners on the HPC Elite team. This past year, he guided 800m runner Karjuan Williams to a 4th place and 7th place finishes at the indoor and outdoor USA Track & Field Championships respectively. HPC Elite Team member and recent USA National Champion triple jumper, Brandon Roulhac, competed at the 12th IAAF World Championships today. Brandon jumped 16.94 meters in the qualifying round. This performance placed him 13th in the qualifying round and he was the last jumper to not advance to the finals.
