HPC Elite Team member, Lamont Dagen, has made the front page news of his hometown newspaper. HPC Elite Team member, James Jenkins, won the USATF High Performance section of the men's triple jump at the BYU Speed-Power Invitational. Despite jumping with a severe heel bruise that forced James to pass on 3 of his 6 attempts, James turned in the top two jumps of the day, besting Mark Kellman by about a foot. His mark of 15.77m was a seasonal best and just 3cm shy of the Olympic Trials 'B' standard.HPC provides 2 days of video analysis for athletes at BYU Speed-Power Meet

HPC brought a crew of 4 to Provo, UT to video tape and analyze the performances of the elite sprinters, jumpers, and throwers competing at the BYU Speed-Power Meet on the campus of BYU. HPC provided this service over the two days of the meet as part of USATF's High Performance Plan to develop elite track and field champions.HPC Youtube Channel adds 150th Video

HPC Elite Team member, Alie Israel, won the 100m at the Cardinal Twilight Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville. Her time of 11.73 was a huge seasonal best and very close to her all-time PR of 11.71.Big Weekend for HPC Elite Jumpers

Most of the HPC Elite Jumps crew were in action this weekend. Alonzo Moore and Lamont Dagen competed at the Wisconsin Twilight in Madison, WI in the triple jump where they took 1st and 3rd places respectively. Alonzo posted an outdoor seasonal best of 16.21m. Nick Newman and Tiina Magi competed at the New Balance NYC Qualifying Challenge meet at Icahn Stadium in Manhattan, NY. Nick took 3rd in the long jump with a seasonal best of 7.48m and Tiina was 2nd in the triple jump with a best mark of 12.31m. Nick's mark qualifies him for his Olympic Trials (UK). Finally, Babatunde Ridley competed in the long jump in the Oregon Twilight at the legendary Hayward Field in Eugene, OR.
