HPC Elite’s Jon McDowell breaks another club record

HPC Elite's Jon McDowell turned in his fourth consecutive life time best in the 60m hurdles. His time of 7.92 secondwatch the event and set a new club record at the JDL Invitational in Winston-Salem, NC. Joining Jon with strong performances were Eric Broadbent and Carin Knight who won the long jump and high jump respectively and Steve Simeus eho placed 3rd in the 60m hurdles.

Young leads coaches academy in Albuquerque

HPC's Dr. Mike Young led the USTFCCCA's Track & Field Technical Certification (TFTC) course in Albuquerque, NM. The TFTC is the only professional certification course in the United States available for Track & Field coaches.

Young works with elite athletes in Fayetteville, AR

HPC's Dr. Mike Young travelled to Fayetteville, AR to work with some of the elite athletes competing at the USATF Classic. Among the athletes who receive ongoing assistance is Jill Camarena who set an American record in the women's shot put.

Carin Knight leads HPC Elite team at JDL Fast Track Invitational

Carin Knight turned in a seasonal best of 1.75m to win the women's high jump at the JDL Fast Track Invitational in Winston-Salem, NC. Joining Carin with strong performances were Jon McDowell and Eric Broadbent who both set personal bests in the 60m hurdles of 7.92 seconds and 8.03 seconds respectively. These performances placed them 3rd and 4th respectively in a strong field.

Jon McDowell breaks HPC Elite club record

The HPC Elite Olympic development team competed in Chapel Hill, NC this weekend. Brandon Quarles took second place in the triple jump, Carin Knight placed 3rd in the high jump and Jon McDowell won the 60m Hurdles with a new personal best and club record time of 7.93 seconds.
